First batch, containing vital information on mouth cancer, delivered to a Community Larder in Hardwick, Stockton.
We are now supplying mouth care packs via food banks in certain areas. Information on mouth cancer symptoms included.
After a long pause mainly owing to the pandemic, we hope to get going again soon with some activities. This is all about raising awareness of the symptoms of head and neck cancers so that treatment can be sought quickly.
Unusual symptoms in the head and neck, especially if worsening, should never be ignored. See your doctor without delay.

Cancer of the larynx is diagnosed in 2400 people a year in this country.One important symptom is a hoarse voice lasting 3 weeks or more. This should be reported to a doctor as soon as possible.
